[pgpool-general: 4755] reboot -f command does not cause failover

Hi Experts,

When I stop master's postgres service or even reboot the master's server everything works well and the slave becomes master. However when I do reboot -f (forced reboot) on the master server pgpool does not call the failover.sh script or any other script it normally would execute when it recognizes a failure of the master. I upgraded from version 3.5.2 to 3.5.3 but did not see any change. Please advise.

Thanks for all your help!
Avi
