[pgpool-general: 4299] Scaling Master

Hi. I have read up and it seems that parallel queries are to be deprecated
soon. I have had quite a good bit of success working with PGPool for 1 x
Master and 1 x Slave. I intend to add more Slaves to scale read only
querying using load balancing with Master for writes.

However, I do expect quite a lot of writes and one concern I have is how to
scale the Master using PGPool if i find it getting very busy, either via
partitioning or, more probably sharding.

Partitioning/Sharding isn't an area i'm that experienced in so any advice
would be very much appreciated.
