[pgpool-general: 4943] Pgpool New master failover issues

Dear Support help,

We are evualating  the pgpool II for high availability with load balancing  ,  We are not able to proceed further due to auto failover issues.
We have built the pgpool 3.5 with postgres 9.5 version  with Master/slave configuration , I am able to perform the following


  *   Master > slave, Slave promoted as master through auto failover
  *   Vice versa, I am not able to promote the old master to primary after shutting down the slave/master.
  *   I have placed the masterfoward.sh script and placed the scripts in the directory with the path in pgpool.conf
  *   Pgpool not able to execute the auto failover vice versa, I have modified the required parameters to call master forward scripts.
  *   Load balancing performed through background_wight

My question is,


  1.  Will pgpool support vice versa failover?
  2.  Is there any parameters need to tweak for vice versa failover?
  3.  How to perform the pgpool connection pooling?
