[pgpool-general: 1479] pgPool watchdog service is down after Primary failover

hi,
I am evaluating the pgPool-II 3.2.3 with the same test case I tested with
3.2.2, I see the behavior is different and would like to know if this is an
expected behavior, new bug, or known issue?

server0 is Primary database with pgpool0
server1 is Standby database with pgpool1

Here is the steps to reproduce problem:
1) Checked and confirmed that all backend status are 2 and virtual ip
assigned to Primary0
2) Induce kernel panic on server0, " echo 'c' > /proc/sysrq-trigger"
3) pgpool1 should detect the backend0 is down and promote server1 to become
new Primary. From database point of view, the backend1 does promoted to
become new primary, however, pgpool1 watchdog and health check services
reported error.
