[Pgpool-hackers] Migration to Git

Hi Hackers,

We at EnterpriseDB are planning on taking pgpool's CVS repository and
converting it over to Git so that it becomes easier for us to maintain our
patches on top of pgpool.

We were wondering if the pgpool community would be interested in
adopting Git as primary VCS. If yes, we can contribute the Git repository
that we generate and pgpool community can choose to host it at any place of
their choosing (PGFoundry, GitHub, ...).

I searched for any past communication on pgpool-hackers where such a
migration was proposed or discussed, but didn't find any. If the community
has already discussed such an effort, please point us to it so we can better
understand community's preconditions of and expectations from a potential
Git migration.

Regards,
