[Pgpool-general] what does "ProcessFrontendResponse: failed to read kind from frontend. frontend abnormally exited" mean?

What do such messages mean?

I get them in my syslog around 40 times per hour.

Is that anything good? Anything bad? Neutral?
Other than that, everything else seem to be working correctly.
