A year ago in these archives, Josh Berkus was looking into fronting pgpool with pgbouncer, to get the benefit of pgbouncer's transaction pooling along with pgpool's other features (failover, loadbalancing, etc.). Josh, did you (or anyone else on the list), ever try this out? johnny
