[Pgpool-general] Problem with init script of PostgreSQL!!!

Hello. 

When I carry out an Online Recovery all is fine, but when I execute /etc/init.d/postgresql status, this message is shown: postmaster is down, however I can connect to the server, but I don't know why, if the server is accepting connection, why this status is?.
