[Pgpool-general] Some questions about pgpool

I prefer to look like a fool to stay with the doubt.

What is the advantage of connection_cache?

if i set to true  then it   will consume twice configured connections,  
which  kind of  errors  the connection_cache prevents me ? kind  G, C, 
Z, etc ?

If I i set to false, how  will affect me?

There is a  way  to start  the pgpool  with few connections (eg 10) and 
increased to top (127), instead of starting with 127 connections????
