Pgpool with php applications works good, and when I connected to
database with Pgadmin all is ok. Problem appears when I connected to
database with pgadmin and set "servis db" which doesn't exist. Then
pgpool stop works, in logs(posgresql) I have only:

2009-07-27 19:17:12.719
CEST,"mk8","crm",7020,"127.0.0.1:42799",4a6de118.1b6c,1,"startup",2009-07-27
19:17:12 CEST,,0,CATASTROPHIC,3D000,"base ""crm"" does not exist",,,,,,,,

After that I must restart pgpool to start worked.

I set in pgpool options: log_connections, log_hostname and lodir, but
only errors conecting to posgresql socket are loged(old), like:
2009-07-06 12:41:18 ERROR: pid 25753:
 bind(/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432) failed. reason: Permission denied
2009-07-06 12:41:18 ERROR: pid 25753:
unlink(/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432) failed: No such file or directory

I have centos 5.3 x64_86, posgresql 8.3.7, selinux is enabled, but in
audit.log aren't any entry 'denied' about posgresql or pgpool.

I can somehow protect before some user use not existing service database?

Regards,
Marcin
