[Pgpool-general] How to detect degraded nodes after restart?

Hello again!

Following scenario:

   host1:
   - pgpool-2.1beta2
   - postgres 8.3
   - keepalived

   host2:
   - pgpool-2.1beta2
   - postgres 8.3
   - keepalived

   host3-n:
   - runs postgres 8.3

host1 is master:
   - runs pgpool and the virtual ip

If host1 is down and comes back online, only pgpool
on host2 knows which other hosts (including host1) are degraded
and need to be synced from one master host.

How can I tell pgpool2 on host1 which hosts are degraded so it can
sync the data back correctly?

Sincerly

Nico
