[Pgpool-general] difference between -m fast and -m immediate

Hi folks,

I'm wondering if someone can explain the difference between the -m fast and -m 
immediate shutdown methods of pgpool.  It doesn't seem there is a direct 
correlation between pg_ctl's -m modes and pgpool, but I could be mistaken.
