The implementation specifics of the helm chart are tightly tied to
using Google CloudSQL as the Postgresql backend, but I think it might be a
good starting point for building your own helm chart even if you're on a
different cloud provider or running k8s on bare metal.

Alternatively the fine folks at Bitnami provide a "postgresql-ha" chart
that ties together postgres, repmgr and pgpool into a single package:
