[pgpool-general: 7285] Re: VIP address still active when Pgpool stopped

I changed if_down cmd to fit on Debian, of course. When I run it manually (sudo is configured properly) it works. As I mentioned in my previous report, this problem started occurs after some pgpool update in the past. But now I am not able to specify what version was working properly and in what version is already occurring this. I discovered this bug later on when FO was initiated.

There is a CentsOS 7 working example:

This may suggest that there's an OS dependent incompatibilty of
if_down command.

In the example, if_down command is:
/usr/bin/sudo /sbin/ip addr del $_IP_$/24 dev eth0".
($_IP_$ is the VIP).
