[pgpool-general: 6526] Re: error pgpool

I have removed the file and restart service and I have always the same error.


WARNING:  All the DB nodes are in down status and skip writing status file

FATAL:  pgpool is not accepting any new connections

It means that pgpool sees all databases as being down. When pgpool starts it reads the state of the databases from a status file, it is /tmp/pgpool_status by default. There is one line per database.

So if the db are not down, you would need to stop pgpool, delete this file and restart it. The other way - the normal way - to bring back a node to status up is with the command  pcp_attach_node. But in this case I think it is not posible because you cannot even use pcp commands when all nodes are down (to be validated).
