Hi,
You dont need to have exacly the same hardware on all servers, but for the best Postgresql servers should be the same (but not necessary) for failover and should be better than pgpool because of making operations on databases.

Hello friends,

Was looking for advise/suggestion from  you.
(Ubuntu 16.04, PG -10, PgPool 3.7.5)

We are using 3 servers combination.
1st server has Pgpool installed,  using fail over and load balancing.
2nd is master and
3rd is slave (synchronous replication used).

2 Questions :-
Can we have different hardware on all the 3 servers ? or we can
have primary and slave and with same hardware configuration and
Pgpool server with diff. hardware configuration.
