Hi

Can you please provide little more information about what OS you are using
and how to reproduce the problem. As I have configured and build pgpool
with the exact options you mentioned and I am not getting any error.

Did you get stack smashing... message as soon as you start the pgpool-II or
executing some command produce that error?
