[pgpool-general: 5002] unplugging the power of master server hosting postgres and pgpool

Hi all,

We have two servers with both postgres and pgpool on each of the machines. When we unplug the master server, no failure occurs. The slave remains as slave and the master is down. When we do graceful shutdown all works as expected. We are using the latest pgpool 3.5.4 and the latest postgres. I wonder if there is a workaround for this power unplug bug or when a fix for it is scheduled since this issue is critical for us.

I do not know if it is related, but also in the lasts pgpool version we see different "attach/detach status" if we look on the local machine or when we check the status of that machine from the partner machine.

Thanks
Avi
