[pgpool-general: 5003] Postgres / pgpool connection configuration

Hi all,

I have the following connection configuration

Pgpool.conf
max_pool=4
num_init_children=50

postgresql.conf

max_connections=220

superuser_reserved_connections=20

At some point new connections to VIP with port 9999 will wait forever.  Is there a problem with this configuration that might cause new pgpool connections to wait forever?
How can I define timeout to pgpool connection?
