[pgpool-general: 5084] Which PGPool version with PostgreSQL 9.3.x?

To handle some app support conditions, we have to downgrade out PostgreSQL installation from 9.5.4 to 9.3.x.  Which version of PGPool should I be using?  Currently using PGPool 3.5.4.
