[pgpool-general: 4495] follow_master in case the old master does not have network connectivity.

Hi all,

If I understood correctly follow_master is called immediately after old master fails and new master is promoted.  However, what if there is no connection to old master and the connection resumes after few minutes.  Will follow_master will be executed then?.  Is there an automatic way to make the old master into a slave if the old master machine is reconnected only after an extended period of time?  Who should monitor the old master connectivity?
