[pgpool-general: 4915] Re: invalid authentication

Update to this. I tail pgpool.log until I see the ERROR massage then I breakout of the tail. I get this on the command line

For each “failed to authenticate” in pgpool.log I getting a request for the password to the replication host. Why?

I’m getting this error after applying updates to Ubuntu 14.04.5 and upgrade to pgpool-II version 3.4.7. I also applied version 5.3.2 to see if that would fix the problem but it doesn’t matter which version of pgpool I use I get the same error.
