[pgpool-general: 4638] Pgpool questions

Hello Guys:
i am deploying pgsql 9.5+ pgpool 9.5 on two nodes on streaming replication
modea (each node hosts one instances of pgsql and one instance of pgool)
It looks good so far, but i have a couple of questions.

1) What is the difference between online replication and failback_command?
2) I read in several documents on the internet that when i reattach a node
to pgpool i need to restart pgpool. Is this true?
