[pgpool-general: 4132] invalid authentication

I  download the latest version of pgpool-3.4.3. Now when I start pgpool seeing this error

2015-10-21 14:07:40: pid 30447: ERROR:  failed to authenticate
2015-10-21 14:07:40: pid 30447: DETAIL:  invalid authentication message response  type, Expecting 'R' and received 'E'

pgpool-II version 3.4.3
Ubuntu 14.04.3
