[pgpool-general: 4202] pcp_stop_pgpool doesn't stop correctly?

Hi All!

# pcp_stop_pgpool 10 localhost 9898 postgres password s
# service pgpool status
pgpool dead but subsys locked

# rm /var/lock/subsys/pgpool
rm: remove regular empty file `/var/lock/subsys/pgpool'? y
# service pgpool status
pgpool is stopped

Pgpool-II version 3.3.4

Is that a known issue?
