[pgpool-general: 3443] watchdog on cloud

  Hey,


Is there a definitive way to deploy virtual ip on cloud providers? Digital ocean provides private networking but only in the same datacenter. This kind of breaks the multi datacenter safeness. So even if i go with the same datacenter i probably won’t be able to get an extra virtual ip for the watchdog or be able to use it on the backup pgpool instance. I am aware that amazon can help with this but amazon is not good for the current setup. i can go with some cloud provider like digital ocean , linode or vultr. Any ideas on such a setup? i was considering using round robin dns for pgpool instances but that does not seem like a good practice.
