[pgpool-general: 2361] Pgpool 3.3.1 segfault error

Hello,

We are using pgpool 3.3.1 with Heartbeat life_check mode. It has helped
with the query hangup issue but we have faced one issue twice since we
started using it. The Master node got detached from pgpool with the
following errors in the pgpool logs both the times:

kernel: pgpool[27437]: segfault at 0000000000000000 rip 00000000004188b9
rsp 00007fff67e93020 error 4
kernel: pgpool[27458]: segfault at 0000000000000000 rip 00000000004188b9
rsp 00007fff67e93020 error 4

Processor load was high too at that time. We were able to attach the node
again immediately but we trying to avoid facing this error again. Could
anyone please throw some light on this?
