[pgpool-general: 2018] Question about load balancing

Hi!
I'm pretty new to pgpool2 and I would like to ask a few questions
I would like to have two instances of the same db  of postgre (I guess this is called master-master replication, am I right?) running in two different physical servers. Also, I would like to have pgpool acting as a load balancer among these, but i would also like to have it running in a cluster of two pyshical servers to guarantee availabiliy. Is that possible?
