I have a doubt, when pgpool is started the pid of watchdog process is 22432.
Why, when I stop pgpool, in the log file says that the pid of watchdog is 22433 ?
stop request sent to pgpool. waiting for termination....2012-08-07 12:46:10 LOG: pid 22408: received fast shutdown request

Yes, I can stop pgpool directly from pcp commnad. From pgpoolAdmin pgpool is stopped , but httpd service is interrupted and the httpd pid file exist. After this, when I start apache service the pgpoolAdmin shows this:
Error Code e1006
Error Message pcp_stop_pgpool command error occurred.
My setup is like this:
The apache is running under user apache, group apache.
The pgpool's executable file has been configured like this:
chown root /opt/pgpool/bin/pgpool
chmod 4755 /opt/pgpool/bin/pgpool
This only happen when watchdog functionality is running.
CentOS release 6.3 (Final) Linux 2.6.32-279.1.1.el6.i686
Your help is welcome.
Do you need other information?
