[Pgpool-hackers] Transactions across partitions in Parallel mode

Hi,

I'm starting to delve into pgpool-II, which looks very good!

I had a question regarding transactions support in parallel query mode.
In parallel mode (with tables partitioned across nodes), what happens
when a transaction is issued that updates rows in different nodes?
Does pgpool-II use two phase commit for this?

Any pointers will be appreciated.
