[Pgpool-hackers] pgpool2_hostname config

Hi all,

I'm wondering what's the use for pgpool2_hostname config. It's not
explained in the documentation. Apart from the config
reading/initializing part, I only found it in the pool_rewrite_query.c file.

Is pgpool2_hostname still used? and what for?

I can provide a patch to get rid of it, if needed.
