[Pgpool-general] streaming replication and online recovery

Hello,

I currently have pgpool II pointing to two remote database servers. I have
pgpool configured for replication mode and load balancing mode per the steps in
the tutorial.

I'm confused how replication mode differs from streaming replication. And, how
does streaming replication differ from online recovery?

I'm new to pgpool and database management. Thank you for your assistance.
