[Pgpool-general] Dynamically adding a Postgresql node to pgpool

Hi All,

What is the exact procedure to dynamically add a postgresql to pgpool?

It says on the user manual:
"If you wish to add PostgreSQL server dynamically, add backend_hostname etc. parameters and reload pgpool.conf."

Does "reload pgpool.conf" mean stopping pgpool and then starting it?
Also, do I have to shutdown my other postgresql?
