[Pgpool-general] kind mismatch among backends. keeps changing between servers

Hello, I had the same problem last week.
Maybe is because the two nodes are not exactly the same. Functions like
pg_dump/pg_restore are not sufficient to make a perfect replication. You
should try rsync or tar.gz your postgresql folder and send it to the
others nodes.
I also found an interesting point, the way postgresql is configured in
node1 and node2 should be practically the same (in my case:
/etc/postgresql/8.3/main/postgresql.conf)
