That worked, thanks.

Agreed that it's not ideal though, it's like it's only reporting to tty
which is lost when run in daemon mode.

Interestingly, I get more debug info then I did before as well. I'm now
getting statement and healthcheck debug info instead of just start and
stop debug info.

I found that I had to add the '-n' flag in /etc/sysconfig/pgpool for 
logging to work. Does anyone know if there's a more "recommended" way of

doing this?
