[Pgpool-general] pgpool issue with insert

Does anyone know a solution to the following error:
   
  ERROR: pgpool2 sql restriction
  DETAIL: cannot find dist_def table info
   
  this is when I try a simple insert:
   
  insert into table (column1,column2) values (value1,value2)
