[Pgpool-general] Dynamically adding client nodes

I am looking thru the pgpool and pgpool-II documentation to see if I
can solve the following issue - any thoughts are appreciated.

I have a postgres server and have one to 10 additional servers that
dynamically come on board.  I want to use these other servers to load
balance the main one, and have set-up replication.  However, the other
servers do not have a dynamic IP address, nor are they always up.  I
want to add them as load requires.  Is there a way to have one of
these machines, upon boot, make itself recognized to pgpool-II and
then begin to act as a client node?
