Got pgpool-II 1.0.1 today and built it on a x86_64 Fedora 4 system.
Running in replication mode with 2 backend db's on separate boxes and on startup I'm getting the
following error:
# cat /var/log/pgpool.log
2006-09-22 08:33:24 LOG: pid 8750: pgpool successfully started
2006-09-22 08:34:10 ERROR: pid 8782: connect_unix_domain_socket: connect() failed: No such file or
directory
2006-09-22 08:34:10 LOG: pid 8782: notice_backend_error: master: 0 fail over request from pid 8782
2006-09-22 08:34:10 LOG: pid 8750: starting degeneration. shutdown secondary host (0)
2006-09-22 08:34:10 LOG: pid 8750: degeneration done. shutdown secondary host (0)
Have tied both '/tmp' and '/var/run' for the socket_dir in pgpool.conf but get the same error. Any
clues would be appreciated.
Was running pgpool-I on the same machine with no problems.
Thanks,
Perry Casson
