[Pgpool-general] Two postgres and two pgpool ?

Is it available to have two separate machines and have installed
postgres and pgpool on both?
Each pgpool would be in replication mode with/OR/without load balancing
and failover.

I'd like that, but haven't found an answer to it.
Basicly I want to have something like multi master replication, where
clients may connect to any server.
