All selects were sent to node 1 as expected. However,
replication_state and replication_sync_state are shown as NULL.  Is it
intended?

Moreover I noticed that in the log BEGIN and END were sent to all
nodes. This is unexpected. Do you have any non standard configuration
in pgpool.con?
