Is there any error reporting in pgpool.log and postgresql.log?

Could you try with connection_life_time = 0

Regards.

Asunto: [pgpool-general: 5307] pgpool kills connection during batch copy command

I'm running pgpool2 version 3.5.3 in master_slave_mode = stream and load balancing mode with postgres 9.5.2, both are dockerized.

I have a batch process that runs each night and uses the copy command. When ran directly against the primary server it completes every time. When the process runs against pgpool it will sporadically die. The whole process takes about 20 min.

I have child_life_time and connection_life_time both set at 3600 seconds.

Has anyone experienced issues running batch jobs through pgpool?
